Additionally, the University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP) offers programs of all lengths. Your student can study at world-renowned Universities in English, immerse themselves in another language and academic culture, or take language classes. More information. UC Davis Widening Circles—Global Social Impact Program
June 24 – August 23. Explore pathways for learning and acting with purpose and humility in the face of global inequality and injustice. The program includes an online curriculum, guidance from mentors, peer-to-peer learning and digital storytelling. Funding and travel awards are available for UC Davis undergrad and grad students.
Global Ambassador Mentorship Program Mentor Fellows
Become a mentor fellow and provide mentorship and friendship to new international students, develop programming, build leadership skills, and contribute to the global community at UC Davis! Open to current undergraduates. Participants are eligible for a $500 payment. Deadline: February 4.
Universitas 21 Global Citizens Program
April 3 – 26. Free for UC Davis undergraduate and graduate students, this online leadership program gives students the opportunity to develop skills needed to thrive in the 21st century while tackling the world’s pressing problems outlined in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Deadline: February 21.
U21 Aspire is an online development micro-program for aspiring social entrepreneurs and change makers. The free, online hub provides on demand access to video content from successful social entrepreneurs and leaders and fellow students who have set up their own social projects. Open to all students.
APRU Global Health Mini-Certificate Training in Health Research Ethics
February 15, 22, 29, 5-7:15pm. The APRU Global Health Mini-Certificate Training is a free three-session class that aims to give students opportunities to strengthen their capacities in ethics to conduct health research. Deadline: February 1.
