- Why should I become a member?
- Becoming a member of the Cal Aggie Alumni Association offers a range of benefits and opportunities that can enrich both your personal and professional life. You can watch a video to Learn Why Membership Matters or read below to learn why you should consider becoming a member.
Networking Opportunities: Membership gives access to networking opportunities, allowing you to connect with fellow alumni who share similar backgrounds or career paths. These connections can be invaluable for career advancement, mentorship, and professional development.
Staying Connected: Alumni networking, social events, and reunions provide opportunities to reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and give back to your alma mater and local community.

- Where can I sign up for a membership/which membership is best for me?
- If you're interested in joining our Aggie community, becoming a member is simple. Start by visiting our website, where you'll find detailed information about membership options. Whether you're a student, an alumni, or a supporter, there's a membership association tailored to suit your needs.
To sign up for a membership, just follow these steps:
1. Visit our website: Navigate to our homepage at alumni.ucdavis.edu/membership
2. Explore membership options: Take a look at the different membership associations available.
3. Select your membership: Choose the membership option that best fits your relationship with UC Davis.
4. Complete the sign-up process: Once you've decided on a membership association, simply follow the prompts to complete your membership purchase. You'll need to provide some basic information and set up your payment method.
5. Enjoy your benefits: After you've signed up, you'll gain access to all the perks and privileges that come with being a member of our Aggie community! - How much does membership cost?
Cal Aggie Alumni Association: Alumni, Friends, Faculty & Staff Recent Graduate Annual Membership (graduated in the last 5 years): $30 Recent Graduate Life Membership: $425 Alumni Annual Membership: $60 Alumni Life Membership: $850 Friend Annual Membership: $75 Friend Life Membership: $900 Aggie Parent and Family Association: Parents & Family Parent/Family Membership: $120 Student Life & Parent/Family Joint Membership (Paid in Full): $500 Student Life & Parent/Family Joint Membership (Installment): $520 Student Alumni Association: Undergraduate or Graduate Student Student Life Membership (convers to life upon graduation): $420 - What is the student life and parent/family joint membership?
The Student Life & Parent/Family Joint Membership is a bundled deal! When you purchase this joint membership, your student’s membership will cost $380 compared to the regular price of $420. The joint membership bundle is designed to provide exclusive benefits for two family members, along with a Student Life membership for your student. We also offer a parent and family membership for $120, but this does not include your student’s membership.
The expiration dates for Parent and Family memberships are set to the graduation year of your student. If you purchase the joint membership deal, your student will receive a Student Alumni Association membership while they are enrolled. After they graduate, that membership automatically converts into an Alumni CAAA Life membership with no expiration date.

- I’ve lost my membership card. How can I get a digital/physical replacement card?
- If you’ve misplaced your CAAA membership card, you can submit a membership card request to get a replacement card here.
- How can I access the UC Davis Library as my member benefit?

CAAA Members may apply in person at Shields Library. Individuals must present a current government-issued photo ID and verification of status or payment (cash or check only) when registering. Renewal of library privileges may be requested in person, by email, or by phone.
Library privileges are not transferable. Only the individual named on the library card can use the card.
Members have free borrowing privileges at the libraries on all 10 UC campuses (some restrictions may apply).
With the courtesy library borrowing card, CAAA members can:
- Borrow 25 items
- Up to a 4-week loan period (this may be restricted based on item policy)The library must be able to verify current membership via membership card (physical or digital card). All regular renewal policies must be followed. Electronic journals and databases can only be accessed through a computer at the library. There is no remote access to electronic resources unless you are a current UC Davis student, faculty, and staff.
Restrictions: CAAA members are not eligible to use interlibrary loan or document delivery services.
- How can I access the LinkedIn Masterclass?
- To gain access to our LinkedIn Masterclass, please send us an email at alumni@ucdavis.edu, and we will provide you with a link to a Google form. This form is designed to ensure that only our members can access the LinkedIn Masterclass.
- How do I renew my membership?
- Renewing your membership is a simple process. You can renew your membership on our CAAA website. Additionally, we also send out renewal reminders via email when your membership is about to expire and include a link to renew your membership.
- I have not received my package yet, what should I do?
Membership packets will arrive in 2-3 weeks as stated in your membership confirmation email. If you purchased a membership during the holiday season/holiday break, there might be a slight delay. Due to a high volume of orders, fulfillment may take some time, and occasional shipping delays may occur.
If you still haven’t received your package, please email us at alumni@ucdavis.edu or call the Alumni office at 530-752-0286 so that we can check the status of your package.
- Where can I find information on upcoming events that members have access to?
- To stay informed about upcoming events, feel free to visit our Alumni Events page. If you’re a member, you will receive members-only early access and exclusive members-only invitations and perks through email. We reach out to our members via email.
- What is your refund policy for membership purchases?
We offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Refunds cannot be processed after this period. To request a refund within the 30-day period, please contact us at alumni@ucdavis.edu or call the Alumni office at 530-752-0286.
Once your refund request is approved, we'll process it promptly. You can expect to see the refund reflected in your original form of payment within 7-10 business days, depending on your financial institution. Note: Once you have requested a refund, we will cancel your membership as soon as possible.
- How can I find the status of my membership?
- To check the status of your membership or inquire about the remaining balance on membership payments, please reach out to us via email at alumni@ucdavis.edu or call the Alumni office at 530-752-0286.
- I have a business/wine/travel inquiry question for the Cal Aggie Alumni Association.
- For inquiries regarding business partnerships/wine/travel, we recommend reaching out to the Director of Business Partnerships, Wine, and Travel Programs. You can visit our contact page for additional contact information and assistance.
- I want to book and/or rent the Alumni Center space for my events.
- If you're interested in booking or renting the Alumni Center space for your events, we recommend reaching out to our Event Venue Manager. You can visit our contact page for additional contact information and assistance.
- I want to learn about my alumni chapter networks.
- If you're interested in learning about alumni network events and alumni chapters, we recommend reaching out to our Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement. - How do I update my contact information or preferences?
- You can update your contact information such as address, email, and phone number here. Tip: you can also update your info at any time by clicking the ‘Update my Information’ button found at the bottom of any CAAA email you receive.
- Where can I get a copy of my transcript and diploma?
- For transcript or diploma requests, we recommend reaching out to the UC Davis registrar's office. You can find their contact information here: https://registrar.ucdavis.edu/about/contact
- How can I be removed from your mailing list?
- To unsubscribe from our mailing list, simply scroll to the bottom of any University email you receive. There, you should find a ‘Manage my email preferences’ button. Clicking this button will direct you to a site where you can opt out of our mailing list. Please note that this action may not unsubscribe you from other UC Davis mailing lists, as it pertains specifically to our mailing list.
