Interested in biostats opportunities at a research-driven biopharmaceutical company taking on the toughest health challenges? If so, come join us on November 9th, 1:00-4:30 PM (Pacific Time) for an onsite event at AbbVie. At this event, UC Davis advanced degree students and alumni* will enjoy this special opportunity to network with AbbVie staff, learn more about career and internship opportunities with the company, and take a tour of their new Bay Area facility.
Food and beverages will be served. Dress for success: business casual attire recommended.
Travel to South San Francisco
- Travel to South San Francisco: Amtrak (Capitol Corridor Train) provides services from Sacramento/Davis to the Richmond BART Station. BART provides services from Richmond Station to the South San Francisco Station. From South San Francisco Station, AbbVie Bay Area facility can be accessed via bicycle, the free Oyster Point BART (OPB) Shuttle, or ride-sharing services through Uber/Lyft (prices vary).
- Parking is available nearby to student/alumni visitors who wish to carpool or vanpool.
- Indicate any transportation needs as it relates to this event on the event registration form.
Register by November 3rd to reserve your spot as capacity is limited. Upon registration, you will receive a follow-up confirmation email.
*Please note, this event is only open to current UC Davis students and alumni of the M.S. Program in Statistics, Ph.D. Program in Statistics, M.S. Program in Biostatistics, or Ph.D. Program in Biostatistics, and UC Davis graduate students and alumni with statistics or biostatistics experience.
