Parent Pop Ups are a fun and informal way to get to know other Aggie parents in your area. These casual gatherings are hosted by local Aggie parents.
Join fellow UC Davis Aggie families for a meaningful Pop-Up volunteer experience supporting the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. This is a hands-on opportunity to give back to our local community while connecting with other Aggie families.

This event is hosted by UC Davis Parent Council volunteer, Betsy Woods.
What We’ll Be Doing:
- Volunteers will help with warehouse tasks that may include:
- Sorting and packing food
- Preparing items for distribution
- Supporting food assistance efforts that directly help families across San Diego County
- No experience is needed — just a willingness to help and work as a team!
Volunteer Requirements & Reminders:
- Age Requirements:
- Ages 16+ may volunteer independently
- Ages 11–15 must be accompanied by a registered adult (1 adult per 4 youth)
- Dress Code: Closed-toe shoes required
- Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes early
- Volunteers arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be admitted
- Any unused spots will be released to the public one week prior to the event
How to Register (Required for Each Volunteer):
Every person attending must register individually, including teens, spouses, friends, or family members.
Steps:
- Click “Sign Up” for the Miramar Warehouse Afternoon Shift – Saturday, March 14, 2026 (12:30–2:30 PM)
- Sign in to your existing account or create a new account
- If creating an account, you may skip the join code (not needed)
- Select “I just want to volunteer” when prompted
- Complete the personal information and waiver
- Return to the shift page and click “Sign Up” to confirm
