Director of Membership
Divine Joyce Otico ’19 serves as the Director of Membership at the Cal Aggie Alumni Association (CAAA), where she oversees membership programs for students, parents, and alumni. She leads revenue strategy, marketing, and operations, driving growth through innovative, data-informed campaigns and enhanced member benefits. Divine manages a multidisciplinary team spanning graphic design, social media marketing, photography, data management, and fulfillment, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Focused on strategic marketing and membership engagement, Divine plays a key role in expanding the Aggie Network and strengthening lifelong connections to UC Davis. She ensures data integrity across membership records and leads the coordination of signature programs and events, including the Picnic Day VIP Member Lounge, Grad Fair, and Grad Toast. Her leadership in launching inaugural and experimental campaigns has resulted in record-breaking membership initiatives and improved operational efficiency.
Prior to joining CAAA, Divine held roles at UC Davis Wheelhouse: The Center for Community College Leadership and Research, the California Education Lab within the School of Education, and the UC Davis Linguistics Phonetics Research Lab, where she served as a research scholar. She was also a Mentorship & Professional Development Fellow at the AB540 and USC at UC Davis and a Crankstart Transfer Reentry Scholar.
A first-generation professional and proud UC Davis alumna and lifetime member of CAAA, Divine is deeply committed to sustainability, equity, and community-building. Beyond her professional work, she runs a small business focused on upcycling fabric and promoting circular fashion. In her free time, she enjoys singing, recording music, and spending time with her fluffy feline companion, Mizuki Otico, who is an official Aggie Pet Member through CAAA’s newest membership program, the Aggie Pet Membership, which welcomes pets into the Aggie family.
