Student Alumni Mentorship Program

The Student Alumni Mentorship (SAM) Program is exclusively open to Student Alumni Association (SAA) members. Through participation in the SAM program, SAA members have the unique opportunity to:

  • Network one on one with an alumni mentor who can help provide you with valuable insights around career-related topics
  • Practice professionalism and learn more about the world of work
  • Learn from your mentor's experience and receive insight into the internships, jobs, and experiences your mentor had that helped them achieve their career goals
  • Construct a personal plan with your mentor to help reflect on and work towards your short-term and long-term personal/professional goals

This program is offered annually during the Winter quarter. Participation in the SAM Program is a quarter-long commitment. To learn more about this program, review the mentee guidebook

The first step to joining the SAM Program is to complete the mentee application, which collects key information that allows program coordinators to match prospective mentees with an alumni mentor. Spots are limited to 20 student mentees per quarter.

Member Benefit:

Only SAA members are eligible to apply for this program. SAA members will receive an email invitation to apply to the program during the open application period.

If you are not an SAA member, consider joining now!
