UC Davis offers a number of programs that help incoming students transition into their college career. If you know of a newly admitted student who will attend UC Davis in the fall, encourage them to explore these programs.

Picnic Day- An Aggie Parent's Experience

Picnic Day is one of THE annual events students look forward to. Admittedly, it is also one of my favorite events as a parent. I don’t expect to see my son during the day, because his picnic day tradition matches that of many students on campus, to let loose something he can only do a couple times a year.

Seeing Nature with Fresh Eyes

Stacey Combes works with a 20-foot wind tunnel in her lab. She entices bees through it using colorful fake flowers and drops of nectar. Meanwhile, high-speed cameras inside the tunnel capture details of bee flight invisible to the human eye.
