Join the Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association (CLAA) for a spring social at Maldonado Vineyards on May 19th!
Nestled in the northernmost tip of the Napa Valley, you’ll find Maldonado Family Vineyards; a small Mexican-American family owned winery. Owner- winemaker Hugo Maldonado comes from a vineyard management background, working alongside his father Lupe Maldonado and learning the importance of vineyard care at Newton Vineyards.
CLAA is happy to partner with both an Aggie owned and Mexican American Vintners Association (MAVA) member winery for an opportunity to tour their winery, enjoy some delicious food and wine, and celebrate our community. The tour will begin at 1 pm and conclude at 2 pm for lunch and wine tasting. Food will include homemade tacos de birria, fried cheese "gorditas", jicama salad, and salsas. You will have the option of buying either a Food-only ticket or a Food and wine ticket. If you did not buy a wine ticket, you will have the option of paying for wine tasting at the winery.
